Peru is home to the oldest (Chico Norte) and the most advanced (Inca) civilizations in the Americas.  For over 5000 years, various people groups have influenced the land and culture of this beautiful country.  A country both proud of its heritage and yet aware of the challenges it faces today.  

Despite the challenges of poverty and corruption, the people we met were warm and welcoming.  Each one, pleased to share their country and their stories with us.  Stories that tell of a resilience that only time and trouble can teach.  Stories filled with hopes, dreams, and reminders about what really matters.
