The decision to make Costa Rica home was based on many things. Ease of access from Canada, Spanish speaking, political and socio-economic security.
All good things but what really helped us decide was that we knew someone – the mother of our good friend who is from Costa Rica. She doesn’t speak English and at age 80 she won’t be joining us scuba diving or zip-lining but she is one of those people you look at and think, “I want to be like you when I’m 80.” With 80 less than half a lifetime away, better learn what we can now!
Costa Rica’s incredible diversity is also makes it a wonderful place to explore. Perfect for one family member’s insatiable need to see what’s around the corner…
